Trevor Jones

Trevor, a Waukee native, excelled as a center midfielder at VSA clinching multiple state cup titles and earning 2-year captain and MVP roles for back-to-back state championship teams at Waukee High School.

Transitioning to Carleton College, Trevor started in 76 matches, logging over 6500 minutes, and secured the game-winning goal in the 2021 MIAC Championship game. As a 2-year captain, he propelled the Knights to a #4 national ranking and anchored the #1 defense in the nation, conceding only 6 goals in 20 matches. Trevor garnered All-Conference, All-Region, and Scholar All-American distinctions.

Beyond college, Trevor played semi-professional soccer with Royal Palms SC in Florida and St. Croix Legends in USL2. Currently, he assists at Carleton College Men’s Soccer and Waukee Northwest High School Boys’ Soccer, leveraging 7 years of coaching experience to provide personalized guidance to players at Tekkers. Trevor attributes his success to outstanding coaching and is committed to nurturing future talent. Trevor has coached team and individual training sessions for 7 years and is excited to bring his experience to Tekkers.
