Sam Weeks

Sam "Weeksy" hails from St. Albans, England, and moved to Iowa in the early 2000s, where he has been ever since. He enjoyed a stellar soccer career, winning multiple state championships at club and high school levels. His college journey at Grand View University saw him excel as a Center Back, Right Back, and Center Defensive Mid, reaching Nationals three times and the Elite 8 during his junior year. Sam graduated with a Sports Management Degree.

Transitioning into coaching, Sam has dedicated 14 years to the sport. He currently coaches at Sporting Iowa, holding a National C License and a High School Coaching License. He's led teams to multiple State Cups and steered the 07 ECNL Boys to consecutive ECNL Nationals, a first for Iowa.
