New Program: Tekkers Tots
Tekkers Soccer is excited to offer a new program called Tekkers Tots to the youth soccer community in Iowa! Tekkers Tots is designed for beginner youth soccer players aged 4-7 years old who are eager to discover more about the game and learn basic skills. “At Tekkers, we have always wanted to provide a program for young individuals who are curious about soccer. It is important to us to offer opportunities to players of different ages, skills, and backgrounds, and the Tekkers Tots program allows us to start reaching the next generation of potential soccer players.”
The Tekkers Tots will be led by Tekkers Staff members and help from collegiate soccer players in the area to make sure there is plenty of hands-on learning for each kid.
The program is specifically designed to introduce players to the game and help them determine if soccer is something they are truly interested in. In the first two sessions, we will explore the fundamentals of the game. But here's the exciting part: we have created a super cool atmosphere where learning feels more like playtime! Participants will discover the ins and outs of soccer while having a blast with their new friends.
Throughout the next three sessions, we will focus on important skills that will make each player a soccer pro. We will dive into dribbling, passing, and shooting, using fun drills that will help improve individual skills and ensure everyone leaves with a smile they can't wipe off!
During the final week, participants will have the opportunity to form small teams and put their skills to the test. Each Tekkers team member will receive a stylish Tekkers Shirt, fostering unity and team spirit. It will be their chance to compete for the entire session! We can promise that this program will be filled with laughter, new friendships, endless excitement, and a wealth of new knowledge about the game! The Tekkers Tots coaching staff will include experienced Tekkers Staff, collegiate players from the area, and high-level youth players. All of our coaches are eager to give back and share their love and knowledge of the game.
